Wiring and Applications: Easily installed on any automatic irrigation system, using a single pole, double throw switch to delay the operation of the system by typically interrupting the circuit to solenoid valves.

The water absorbing (hygroscopic) disks inside the Mini-Clik II absorb water and dry out just like turf. The disks expand when wet, depressing a switch which breaks the circuit from the controller.

After a rain, the disks dry out at a similar rate as the turf. Once the disks are dry, they contract and release the switch. The system then returns to it's normal watering cycle. The Mini-Clik II can be used to control systems that contain components such as: booster pumps, single station controller/indexing valve set-ups, and hydraulic controllers.

The Mini-Clik II has been successfully used in the following applications where rainfall needs to be detected: home automation, foundation watering systems, roof-cooling systems, automatic pool covers, center pivot irrigation systems & electrically operated awnings.
